Betrayal
When someone has gained our trust it is traumatic to be betrayed by them.
that Jesus knew Judas would betray Him and still included him in the last Passover meal is hard to imagine yet it happened.
When someone betrays our trust
though we are commanded to forgive them
there is no obligation to trust them
a betrayer has a moral weakness
let us not put such a person in a position of trust in that area of weakness.
